Tangerang regent told new hospital to provide best service

Tangerang Regent A. Zaki Iskandar asked the management and paramedics of newly-opened hospital in Bitung, Curug district to provide best service for the society in support for the regental administration’s developmental programs.

Zaki said that health service is the most important agenda in developing a region. Health determines the rate of human’s smartness. One of indicators that shows improvement in society prosperity is the availability of health service and therefore healthy society is the main goal of regional development.

“The regental administration has always paid full attention to the construction of health means and facility. The opening of a new hospital here is an important part in response to challenges of the much needed health service by the people,” Zaki said at the opening ceremony a Hermina Hospital Thursday.

The regent hoped that the presence of the new hospital can contribute positive supports for the impmentation of developmental programs in health sector, not to say the much-required best service.

Zaki highly appreciated a free-of-charge catarac surgical operation for 100 people organized by the hospital as part of its opening ceremony.

Rohani, 62, a resident of Jambe district who took part in the cataract operation expressed gratitude and hoped that she can see the world again.

Hasmoro, director of PT Medica Loca Bitung that manages the hospital said that the construction of the new hospital hailed from an initiative to present health service to the society. The phisycal construction of the four-storied hospital building on 5,186 meter square plot started in August 2015 and completed in February this year.

“This hospital is part of Hermina Group that manages 23 hospitals across the country with a total of 2,100 beds. In the first phase of the opening of hermina Bitung, we provide 50 beds for patients,” he said, promising that the hospital also welcome patients with BPJS cards.
