Tangerang Regent A. Zaki Iskandar called on residents to maintain and improve security guards dan public order in anticipation to possible incident as preventive measures in their respective neighbourhood across the regency.
Zaki delivered his call while spreading out and putting stickers containing the message on the doors of resident’s homes in Kadu Agung village, Tigaraksa district on Thursday.
“If unwanted thing happens, residents know what to do and they can directly contact related officers, such as subdistrict/village chief, village supervisory non-commissioned officers ( Babinsa ) and a police officer assigned to a village as an advisor on security and public order], whose phone numbers can bee seen in a list on the sticker,” Zaki said.
According to Zaki, putting the sticker on the door of every resident’s home is a form of the admininstration service in maintaning security and upholding public order as anticipative steps.
“This is only a preventive measure, not because of emergency sitution. So officer are are ready nearby and they will quickly respond to any reports/complaints filed by the locals, including flooding,” Zaki said.
Zaki was accompanied by the regency’s precint deputy police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Mukti Juharsa and the district military commander (Kodim 0506) Lt. Col. Achirudin.
Meanwhile, Mukti said putting on sticker is aimed at preventing drug abuse and terorist acts.
“The three, subdistrict/village chief, Babinsa and Babinkamtibmas live in the respective village/subdistrict. So, residents can directly call them up for reports or complaints,” he said, adding that identity of any report senders will be kept secret.
